TWI truly believes in improving athletic performance by developing the athletes intelligence, body, and spirit. It’s not only how hard you train, it’s how intelligent you train. Training intelligently and consistently are key components to success for any athlete. TWI has developed a comprehensive training program offering athletic performance enhancement as well as a great emphasis on injury prevention.
The majority of today’s sports are played in short-duration conditions as well as in high intensity. Therefore, we believe that the best way to train is to do so in real game situations. Training the body beyond the normal capacity and allowing the athlete to maximize the most out of his/her training potential is one of the most important aspects we want to accomplish.
Speed and good movement are skills and like any skill, they can be attained through intense training, finding more adrenaline, and most important intelligent planning. We want to educate the muscles and nerves on how to move and play fast by developing the reactive neuromuscular firing. Once all strengths and weakness are identified, a successful tailored program is implemented. All programs are designed to fit the athletes individuals needs not only to run fast, but to react, recover, and play fast.
