About the Founder

Kevin Wiley is a professor in the kinesiology department at Northwest Vista College in San Antonio, Texas.  He is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physical Education/Minor in Recreation and a Master’s of Science Degree in Physical Education.  He is certified trainer by the National Exercise and Sport Trainers Association (NESTA).

Kevin works independently with developing athletes of all sports in the areas of conditioning, speed, power, agility, and their intelligence.  As a former Track and Field athlete, Kevin has had the opportunity to compete on a world class level and learn great coaching fundamentals by some of the world’s best track & field and strength & conditioning coaches.  He is a former 3-time NAIA National Collegiate Champion, a 14-time Collegiate All-American, and a 2-time Olympic Trials qualifier.  Kevin’s best competitive year came in 1998 when he garnered a top 10 ranking on the world indoor list in the Long Jump.

Throughout the year, Kevin enjoys traveling around the country to observe and learn different philosophies from some of the best recognized strength and conditioning coaches.  His experience as professor of kinesiology, his competitive background, and the ability to have great motivational techniques give Kevin a unique perspective beyond what the typical athletic performance coach has. His style of coaching exudes passion and energy which inspires those around him.  As athletes continue to grow intelligent about their training and performance enhancement continues to evolve in their respective sport, it is Kevin’s hope to set the standard on which his athletes base their training efforts and expectations on raising the bar.
